About Chucks Taxis + CTL Training
Our History
Founded in 2018, Chucks Taxis CTL has been providing first class taxi and private hire services with 4 seater and 8 seater vehicles to the people of Crook Bishop Auckland Weardale and surrounding areas for over 5 years now, Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has made us one of the most trusted names in the industry. We cover party nights with minibuses complete with the little touch's like disco balls and tunes which are very popular and also 24/7 local airport transfers as well as constant long term contract work. Our aim is to make your Journey as comfortable fun and as stress free as possible.

Our Vehicles
We have a mix of 4 seater and 8 seater vehicles for your travel needs, these include long wheel base air conditioned 8 seater vehicles which will comfortably transport you and all your luggage to our local airports (Newcastle Durham Tees Valley) also vehicles available for nights out with disco balls and tunes for the fun seekers amongst you who just don't want the night to end.. we also supply steps into larger vehicles and low level 4 seaters available for those who struggle with mobility problems.
CTL Driver Training and Instruction
We are also certified Taxi driver assessment providers for Durham County Council, we provide the training and certificate required by most authorities to obtain your Hackney or Private Hire badge, we also offer pre assessment briefings and/or a pre assessment lesson if required.
Our pass rate for new Taxi drivers is very impressive and our pre assessment briefings are all included in the fee, pre assessment lessons however will incur an extra charge if needed, we do however offer some free advice on how to gain your badge as we see a lot of frustration on the ins and outs of the system.
We also offer drivers and company drivers 1 hour practical refresher training on the latest safety measures in place for authorities and the importance of safely carrying all passengers including children.
This method is also good for companies to have in place on their books to show drivers are periodically being assessed which is not only a good sign of company ethics but of course offers protection for drivers as well.
